Jo Chainey - Committee Assistant

Also known as Bubbles I have been a member for about 3¾ years. My first love of Minis came when I was younger and my Mum had a Navy Mini Mayfair called Mildred, which she took us to school in (much to the envy of my friends).

Once I had learnt to drive I bought a blue/grey Rover Studio 2 called Zippy (my first love). My mum car-sat Zippy for four months when I went to America to work and travel. I did try, and completely failed at educating the Americans on what a REAL Mini is. After driving Zippy into the ground I unfortunately had to sell the little rust bucket.

My role on the committee is quite varied. I help the chairman arrange some meetings for the IMM and will be looking into getting the club discount database updated. I represented the Mini Club in Hadleigh for a while and managed to get a few zaps out in the process.
